Role Overview:
We are seeking a Finishing Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift to lead our production team in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. You'll ensure safe, efficient operations while fostering a motivated, empowered workforce. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader with experience driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead 10–50 production team members in day-to-day operations.
- Maintain a safety-first culture and enforce OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members through training and performance feedback.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, and Kanban methods.
- Coordinate production schedules to meet quality and efficiency goals.
- Conduct regular audits, resolve operational issues, and ensure compliance with safety and production standards.
- Partner with union representatives and technical staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations preferred.
- 1–3 years supervising production teams in high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing.
- Proven leadership skills with a servant leadership mindset.
- Hands-on experience implementing Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, or Kanban practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and team development skills.
