We are seeking a motivated and experienced Kitting Production Supervisor to lead our 2nd shift manufacturing team in Ripon, WI. As a first-line leader, you will guide and support your team to achieve production goals, ensure quality standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a leader with hands-on experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments who thrives on coaching, problem-solving, and developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise team members within your production area to meet daily production schedules and quality goals
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and encourage team members to contribute ideas for process enhancements
  • Uphold the company's core values, demonstrating respect and fairness in all interactions and decisions
  • Identify and reduce waste while enhancing lean operations and team member skills
  • Ensure all employees are trained in safety, quality standards, equipment operation, and 6S practices
  • Collaborate with technical staff to resolve production issues and maintain operational efficiency
  • Set and track annual goals aligned with production metrics
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, working with Union Stewards when necessary
  • Monitor work-in-progress inventory and identify opportunities for process optimization
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in a medium to high-volume manufacturing environment preferred
  • Previous manufacturing supervision experience preferred
  • Professional, internship, or co-op experience in manufacturing considered relevant

Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven leadership abilities with a servant leadership mindset, including coaching, mentoring, and team supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to encourage proactive solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Familiarity with process control, production scheduling, Kaizen, Kanban, and Lean manufacturing principles preferred
  • Self-driven, ambitious, and capable of motivating and developing a team

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stoop, bend, and stand for long periods
  • Manual dexterity required
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
