What You'll Do:
- Accounting Operations: Manage full-cycle AP, AR, general ledger, and cash flow.
- Lease Administration: Enter, reconcile, and analyze lease data to ensure proper rent recovery across commercial and residential portfolios.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, perform bank reconciliations, and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- System Management: Utilize Avid Exchange and Avid GL to automate audits, inspections, and corrections.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal accounting controls.
Who Are You:

Background in Public Accounting (13 years ideal)

Experience in Real Estate Accounting

Proficient with Avid GL, GAAP standards, and financial statement prep

Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn

Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
Bonus Points If You Have:

CPA certification or CPA-eligible status

Prior experience with lease abstraction and reconciliation

Familiarity with Worksmart PEO systems (not required)
30/60/90 Day Plan:
- First 30 Days: Get familiar with lease input, rent collection, bill approvals, and financial reporting processes.
- By 60 Days: Take ownership of monthly reporting cycles and start supporting reconciliations.
- By 90 Days: Begin overseeing cash management, budget support, and deeper analysis tasks.
