We are actively hiring a Construction Cost Estimator II to support a major energy client in the Houston area. If you're experienced in cost estimating, project management, and construction planning, this opportunity is for you.

What You'll Do:

• Develop conceptual and detailed cost estimates from preliminary project documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors throughout all project phases.
• Analyze and review contractor change proposals, value engineering options, and material alternatives.
• Maintain and utilize a cost database to assist in planning and benchmarking.
• Support bid processes: prepare bid packages, evaluate contractor proposals, and manage scopes.
• Ensure project compliance with local building codes and internal cost control processes.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ years of experience in project or construction management.

• 3+ years in a supervisory or estimating role within the construction industry.
• Strong background in cost estimating for new construction, renovations, and infrastructure projects.

• Proficient in RS Means or other recognized estimating software.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe, etc.).

Nice-to-Have (Bonus Points):

• Experience with Procore, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Project.

• Familiarity with the energy sector or large commercial construction environments.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Location:

This is an on-site role based in Houston, TX, supporting a high-profile energy client. Occasional local travel to project sites may be required.
