Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily operations of the Med/Surg unit, ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff while fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and other healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and staff performance.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and performance metrics for the unit.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) - Required
• Current RN license in North Carolina or Multistate RN License - Required
• Proven experience with Joint Commission readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Prior leadership or nurse management experience in a hospital setting - Preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
