CNC Field Service Engineer - Grinding Machines

Our growing CNC manufacturing client in Mundelein, IL is hiring a CNC Field Service Engineer! If you're a hands-on professional with experience in CNC grinding machine service and troubleshooting, this is your opportunity to join a trusted company with a reputation for quality and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CNC tool & cutter grinding machines
• Support clients in person, over the phone, and via email to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently
• Travel up to 80% throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to service client needs
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics
• Identify issues remotely and recommend solutions for maintenance and part replacement

Qualifications:

• Hands-on field service experience with CNC grinding machines
• Proven skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems troubleshooting
• Ability to diagnose and solve issues remotely as well as onsite
• Experience installing CNC grinding equipment
