Manufacturing Project Manager

We're a leading custom plastic fabricator specializing in corrosive air and liquid handling systems, and we're seeking a driven, detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team in Crystal Lake, IL. In this role, you'll wear multiple hatsquoting, coordinating, problem-solving, and delivering complex projects for industrial and commercial clients across the country.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and cost estimates
• Manage projects from order through installationincluding engineering, purchasing, materials, production, and quality
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, P&IDs, and schematics
• Coordinate with customers to verify requirements and communicate updates
• Ensure jobs are completed on time, on spec, and within budget
• Review job performance to improve future project outcomes
• Interface with internal teams and departments to maintain smooth project flow
• Continuously learn and master our custom product line

Qualifications:

• Proven experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
• At least 35+ years of experience in manufacturing project management or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple fast-moving projects
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Self-motivated, go-getter attitude with excellent follow-through
