Electric Motor Repair Technician

This is not an automotive mechanic role. Industrial motor experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, disassemble, and repair AC/DC electric motors, generators, gearboxes, and pumps
• Use precision tools: multimeters, hi-pot testers, growlers, micrometers, calipers, and other diagnostic equipment
• Conduct failure analysis and document findings accurately
• Reassemble equipment according to OEM, EASA, and customer specifications
• Perform in-house and field repairs, including basic electrical testing and balancing
• Maintain thorough records of inspections, repairs, and quality control
• Adhere to mechanical and electrical safety protocols and best practices

Requirements:

• 13 years of experience as an industrial motor mechanic, or relevant technical/military training
• Hands-on experience with electric motor teardown, inspection, repair, and reassembly
• Proficient in using testing equipment and precision measurement tools
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an industrial setting
