Diagnostic CT Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and radiographic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Operate and maintain CT scanning equipment and imaging systems.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging studies with professionalism and care.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure accurate, timely diagnostic results.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (R) registered or registry eligible.
• Must hold a valid Iowa Permit to Practice Radiologic Technology.
• BCLS certification is required upon hire.
• CT certification (ARRT-CT) preferred or willingness to obtain within a designated timeframe.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
