Aviation Civil Engineer - PE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer with aviation project experience to join our growing team. This role focuses on the design and management of airport landside infrastructure, including runways, taxiways, roadways, and other airport-related civil site work. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley Open Roads/MicroStation, a PE license, and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges in the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or support the design of aviation civil projects from concept to construction
• Prepare contract documents including plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates
• Analyze survey data, maps, aerial photographs, and geotechnical reports
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, subconsultants, and internal teams
• Organize and run project meetings with clear communication and documentation
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards and FAA guidelines
• Perform design computations and assist with permitting as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (ABET-accredited)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent
• 48 years of civil engineering design experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Open Roads Designer/MicroStation
• Strong skills in technical writing, construction cost estimating, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Task or project management experience
