Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, organize, and manage land survey and SUE projects across the public and private sectors.
  • Supervise a team of surveyors and technicians; promote and enforce safe field practices.
  • Determine project scope, timelines, and labor budgets; coordinate with engineering, right-of-way, and utility teams.
  • Prepare and review survey proposals, technical reports, boundary research, and mapping data.
  • Represent The Company in client meetings, public forums, and proposal presentations.
  • Ensure all projects follow federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Oversee quality control of all survey deliverables, including maps, plats, as-builts, and legal descriptions.
  • Train and mentor junior survey staff and manage performance evaluations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) Required

  • Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in land surveying and project management
  • Proven experience in managing Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) projects
  • Expert knowledge of survey practices, boundary law, and regulatory codes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead meetings and client presentations
  • Proficiency with survey technology (e.g., GPS, Total Station, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble, etc.)
