Respiratory Therapist

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapy accordingly
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Provide emergency care, including resuscitation, when needed
• Document patient care accurately and timely in medical records

Qualifications:

• Active Utah State License Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Required Certifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 60 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year working as a Respiratory Therapist in a clinical or hospital setting
