Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Project Manager (or Project Engineer) to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, excels at project estimation and execution, and has a strong grasp of mechanical blueprints, P&IDs, schematics, and industrial systems.

You'll be responsible for quoting and estimating jobs, managing full-cycle manufacturing projects, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of custom-engineered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate quotes, estimates, and project proposals based on client requirements.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects from concept through completion.

  • Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, quality control, materials, and installation teams.

  • Ensure all project milestones are met on time, within budget, and to customer specifications.

  • Conduct pre-production customer consultations to validate requirements and expectations.

  • Monitor and evaluate project performance for continuous improvement.

  • Maintain consistent communication with internal departments and external clients.

  • Review and interpret mechanical blueprints, P&IDs, schematics, and other technical documents.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical documentation.

  • Strong organizational and time management skillsable to manage multiple jobs simultaneously.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilitiesable to troubleshoot and resolve issues under time constraints.

  • Must be a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and drive for results.

  • Associate or Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook); familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and E-Drawings is a plus.
