About the Role
Are you a skilled tool & die technician or aspiring to become one? Join our team as an Imaging Service Engineer, where you'll play a critical role in maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding casting and trim dies to ensure production excellence and minimal downtime.
We're looking for mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy working with blueprints, machines, welding tools, and precision instruments. Whether you're a journeyman or training toward becoming one, this position offers long-term growth and on-the-job training.
️ Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, disassemble, clean, and repair casting and trim dies to meet original specifications.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and die cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Rebuild dies using blueprintsreplace cores, segments, and critical parts as needed.

Polish, grind, and finish die cavity surfaces to optimal standards.
- Perform in-place repairs on mounted dies, resolving dimensional or casting issues.
- Weld dies and components in both the Foundry and Die Repair Departments.
- Troubleshoot tooling and die problems during production and perform corrective maintenance.
- Complete die work orders, documentation, and pictorial sign-offs accurately.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

Assist in training new team members.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Associate's Degree, Technical School Certificate, or equivalent experience in Tool & Die Repair.
- Ability to perform complex mechanical tasks and solve problems independently.
- Up to 2 years of hands-on training (on-the-job experience acceptable if not already fully experienced).
Nice-to-Have:

Tool & Die Repair Journeyman Papers (preferred but not required).

Familiarity with welding in an industrial or foundry setting.
