About the Role:

What You'll Do:
- Lead field survey operations using state-of-the-art equipment and software.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors.

Interpret and work from construction plans and engineering drawings.
- Accurately collect and record field data for boundary, topographic, and construction staking projects.

Ensure quality, productivity, and safety standards are met or exceeded.

Maintain survey vehicles and equipment in good working condition.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with field staff, office staff, and clients.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Survey Crew Chief (or strong surveying experience, ready to step into the role).
- Strong understanding of construction plans and the ability to interpret them in the field.
- Comfortable working with and learning new survey technology and equipment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors, sometimes in challenging conditions, and work overtime or travel as needed.
Nice to Have:

Experience working with municipal and private sector clients.

Willingness to travel for out-of-area projects when required.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, kneel, crouch, and carry equipment frequently throughout the day.

Travel and overtime may be necessary depending on project needs.

Phone Interview With The Company, Director of Surveying.
- In-Person Interview: with a 30-minute meeting with the Director to assess team fit and field experience.
