What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage transportation infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
  • Oversee highway design and engineering projects, including MDOT projects.
  • Direct multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and technicians.

  • Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring successful communication and project outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and performance feedback to junior staff.
  • Actively participate in business development efforts, including proposals and client outreach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Required)

  • Professional Engineering (PE) License (Preferred; Candidates close to licensure will also be considered)
  • Minimum 8+ years of highway engineering design experience, including MDOT project experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience leading civil/transportation engineering projects
  • Strong knowledge of roadway design standards, construction documents, and permitting processes
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proven track record of client relationship management and successful project delivery

Work Environment / Travel:

  • Based in our Rochester Hills office with flexibility for hybrid/remote work as project needs allow
  • Attend occasional client meetings, site visits, or industry conferences (local and regional travel)
