Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the work of multiple survey field crews and office technicians.
- Prepare, review, and approve survey plans and plats using AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads.

Oversee project budgets, timelines, deliverables, and billing.
- Maintain quality control and quality assurance on all project deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and participate in business development activities.
- Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all applicable standards.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to team members through coaching, goal setting, and performance reviews.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred).
- 12+ years of land surveying experience, including management of field and office teams.

Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) License in Virginia.

Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and local surveying regulations.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads.

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Experience with Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) locating and designating.
- Familiarity with VDOT standards and Hampton Roads municipal regulations.
- Knowledge of LiDAR scanning, aerial photogrammetry, and sUAS (drone) mapping technologies.
