We are looking for a Municipal Project Manager with experience managing Local Agency Program (LAP) transportation projects and municipal infrastructure improvements. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative environment on impactful public works projects throughout Michigan.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage civil engineering projects related to water, sewer, stormwater, roadways, and public infrastructure
- Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians from concept through construction

Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and reports
- Coordinate with local municipalities, MDOT, and other Michigan agencies

Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality standards

Maintain and strengthen client relationships

Support business development and proposal preparation efforts

Conduct site visits and attend public meetings as needed
Qualifications: What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of professional engineering experience with municipal infrastructure projects

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Familiarity with the MDOT LAP program and municipal design standards

Strong communication and organizational skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites or meetings as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Construction Engineering or Construction Administration

PE license or on track to obtain it in Michigan
