Senior Electrical Project Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams from concept through commissioning. You'll play a key role in delivering innovative and efficient electrical design solutions for facilities in the education, public works, water/wastewater, healthcare, aviation, and transportation sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design electrical systems for lighting, power distribution, emergency systems, fire alarms, security (CCTV/access control), and communications.
• Perform design calculations and create detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Prepare and review technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates.
• Ensure code compliance with NEC, IBC, NFPA, and other relevant standards.
• Coordinate across disciplines and attend client meetings to ensure quality project delivery on time and within budget.
• Conduct occasional field visits for surveys and construction verification.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 510 years of experience in:
  • Electrical power distribution
  • Power generation
  • Lighting and controls
  • Fire alarm, security, and telecom system design
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit
• Strong understanding of NEC, IBC, and NFPA codes
• Ability to pass the company's Motor Vehicle screening
