CNC Mold Maker

Are you a skilled Mold Maker or Manufacturing Technician with a passion for precision and craftsmanship? We are looking for an experienced professional to join our tool room team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for building, repairing, and modifying high-quality molds using both CNC and manual machining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate new molds from raw materials using CNC mills, lathes, and manual machines
• Repair and modify existing molds with precision machining and careful inspection
• Disassemble, clean, troubleshoot, and reassemble molds for evaluation and repairs
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D CAD models
• Operate a variety of machines, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDMs
• Use precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges) to verify tolerances and ensure quality
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve tooling issues and recommend design improvements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with safety protocols
• Perform additional duties related to tool room and mold maintenance as needed

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in mold making, tooling repair, or mold modification
• Strong proficiency in CNC programming and manual machining techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and work within tight tolerances
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
