About the job Water/Wastewater Project Manager
As a Project Manager at the company, you will lead complex engineering projects focused on water and wastewater collection, conveyance, distribution, pumping, and treatment systems. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping infrastructure in your local community while advancing your career in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and manage water/wastewater projects through all phases from planning to construction.
- Develop and maintain project scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and subconsultants to ensure project success.
- Oversee risk management, extra work order requests, and task proposals.
- Maintain proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Guide and mentor project teams through coaching, feedback, and performance management.
- Contribute to marketing efforts, including proposal writing, Go/No Go decisions, and interviews.
- Prepare client presentations and progress reports, and attend project financial meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- 10+ years of progressive experience in water/wastewater engineering
- Proven experience delivering municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects from design through construction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented and deadline-driven environment
