What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with sales teams and clients to design custom control systems for paint, fluid, and adhesive applications
  • Develop and program industrial automation solutions using Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, and Allen-Bradley PLCs
  • Design and layout control panels, select components, and integrate Servo Motion, VFDs, and Stepper systems
  • Troubleshoot and support low and high-voltage (3-phase) electrical systems
  • Create and edit electrical schematics using AutoCAD and SolidWorks Electrical
  • Develop intuitive HMIs using PanelView

  • Participate in onsite commissioning and installation of systems (Travel up to 25%)
  • Provide hands-on support in panel building and assembly, when needed

What Were Looking For:

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of electrical troubleshooting experience

  • Proficient in Allen-Bradley PLC programming (Ladder Logic, Structured Text)
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including 3-phase, high/low voltage
  • Experience with Studio 5000 / FactoryTalk

  • Proficient in reading/editing electrical schematics (AutoCAD)

  • Hands-on experience with HMI development (PanelView)

  • Familiarity with Servo Motion, VFDs, Stepper motors

  • Willingness to travel up to 25%

Preferred Skills:

  • Associates' or bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, or Automation Engineering
  • Experience with Siemens, Fanuc integration, and Codesys (a plus)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
