Are you a skilled Imaging Service Engineer with a passion for making a difference in patient care? We're hiring an experienced engineer to support diagnostic imaging equipment at Nassau University Medical Center. If you have hands-on experience with MRI, CT, or Cath Lab systems, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of diagnostic imaging equipment, including MRI, CT, and Cath Lab systems.
  • Ensure all imaging equipment is functioning safely, efficiently, and in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Calibrate and document the performance of imaging systems per manufacturer and hospital guidelines.

  • Communicate with clinical staff to identify issues and resolve equipment concerns quickly and effectively.

  • Maintain accurate service records and participate in on-call rotation schedules as required.

  • Provide support for patient care technology and contribute to equipment selection and lifecycle planning.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging service in a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • Hands-on expertise with MRI, CT scanners, and Cath Lab equipment.

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with attention to detail.

  • Flexibility to respond to after-hours calls on a rotating schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience servicing Hologic imaging systems is a plus.

  • Military technical training in imaging equipment repair is welcome.

  • Knowledge of hospital safety, compliance, and regulatory guidelines.
