Electric Motor Mechanic / Winder

Are you an experienced Electric Motor Mechanic or Winder looking to join a well-established, fast-growing team in Louisville, KY? We're hiring a hands-on technician with a solid background in diagnosing, repairing, and testing industrial AC/DC motors, generators, pumps, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot AC/DC motors, generators, and related electro-mechanical equipment
• Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, rewind, reassemble, and test rotating equipment
• Use multimeters, meggers, hi-pot testers, growlers, micrometers, and calipers
• Perform failure analysis and prepare detailed repair documentation
• Ensure repairs meet OEM, EASA, and customer specifications
• Conduct both in-shop and on-site service work
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and final testing

Qualifications:

• 13+ years of experience as an Electric Motor Mechanic or Winder
• Proven experience with industrial electric motors (not automotive)
• Skilled in motor winding, disassembly/reassembly, and testing
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical safety procedures
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• EASA or military technical training is a strong plus
