Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Services team. In this role, you will be an integral part of a collaborative healthcare team, working alongside physicians and fellow RNs to provide life-saving care to patients in critical conditions. With an average of 65 patients per day and over 25,000 annually, no two days are the same in our ED. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a diverse population, including geriatric, adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
- Collaborate with a team of 2-4 RNs and physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a 1:5 patient ratio, ensuring personalized and attentive care.
- Respond to emergencies, stabilize patients, and prioritize care based on acuity.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Shifts:
- Primarily 12-hour shifts, with flexibility required to meet the needs of the department.
- Various shifts are available, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: Previous critical care or emergency department experience is highly preferred.
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 14 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 90 days of hire or transfer.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
