About the Role:
We are hiring a CMM Programmer to develop, test, and optimize programs for Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will ensure precise inspection of parts, maintain strict quality standards, and collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve processes and reduce defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, test, validate, and maintain CMM programs using PC-DMIS, ZEISS Calypso, or similar software.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to define measurement routines.
  • Perform dimensional inspections, First Article Inspections (FAI), and generate detailed inspection reports.
  • Troubleshoot measurement issues and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time and rework.
  • Calibrate and maintain CMM equipment for reliable and repeatable results.
  • Train operators on CMM programming best practices and inspection workflows.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of hands-on CMM programming and operation in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in PC-DMIS and/or ZEISS Calypso software.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to read complex engineering drawings.
  • Experience with dimensional inspection, FAI, and reporting.
  • Ability to collaborate on cross-functional projects with engineering, quality, and production teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience with CAD-to-CMM integration, laser scanners, or vision systems.
  • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Lean/Six Sigma principles.
  • Medical Device or similar industry experience.
