Were hiring an experienced Payroll Specialist to own end-to-end payroll for a single manufacturing location. This role is ideal for a detail-driven payroll professional with Paylocity experience, union payroll exposure, and a strong grasp of payroll compliance. Youll ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting HR and leadership with payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle payroll for a single location, including timekeeping review, approvals, exceptions, and manual checks
• Process weekly payroll in Paylocity, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
• Administer payroll deductions, including garnishments, benefits, PTO, vacation, 401(k), and labor allocations
• Handle union payroll, including union dues and contract-based wage adjustments
• Coordinate payroll hours for contracted staff and staffing agencies
• Manage unemployment claims and appeals, including documentation and filings
• Partner with HR, managers, and employees on payroll policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on payroll experience with full ownership of payroll processing
• Strong experience using Paylocity
• Union payroll experience and knowledge of labor contracts
• Experience handling unemployment claims, audits, and appeals
• Proficient in MS Office with excellent attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent

Work Environment

• Primarily office-based with occasional exposure to manufacturing areas (PPE required)
• Ability to sit/stand as needed and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
