Equipment Installation Crew Lead – Field Operations | Jordan, MN & Travel

Salary: Up to $110,000/year + raises & benefits
Travel: 75% Midwest, occasional Canada & Central America
Job Type: Full-Time (Part-Time for travel-only option)

Overview:
Join a growing industrial equipment company as an Equipment Installation Crew Lead. Lead and manage field installation crews, plan projects, and ensure smooth equipment installations. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on welding skills, and extensive travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead field installation crews; supervise, train, and coach team members
• Plan equipment, personnel, and project schedules
• Verify all materials arrive at job sites and set project milestones
• Report crew hours for payroll and project tracking
• Ensure safe work practices and adherence to company and customer safety programs
• Operate and maintain tools, forklifts, manlifts, and other installation equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately

Requirements:

• 5+ years in field installation with crew lead/supervisory experience
• Strong mechanical skills and hands-on welding (grinders, torches, welders, plasma cutters)
• Ability to travel extensively (75%), including weekends
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs, work at heights, and in varied positions
• Forklift/manlift experience preferred
