Mechanical Maintenance Technician – Aseptic Beverage Facility

Schedule:

• Weekend day shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Rotating schedule:
• Week 1: Thursday–Sunday
• Week 2: Friday–Sunday
• 12-hour shifts (candidates must be comfortable with weekend and extended shifts)

Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 + OT, quarterly production bonuses, pay increases with completed training/testing

Job Overview

Join a growing aseptic beverage manufacturing facility as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician. You'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to keep operations running efficiently and safely in a regulated, GMP environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on motors, pumps, valves, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment
• Troubleshot mechanical issues and supported production during equipment failures
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, P&IDs, and process diagrams
• Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow all GMP, safety, and environmental guidelines
• Support facility maintenance and minor building repairs as needed

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial or mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial production equipment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable working in a GMP or regulated production environment
• Multi-trade maintenance experience (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, welding, plumbing, or compressors)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or supplement manufacturing
• Familiarity with aseptic production processes and high sanitation standards
• Experience with automated production lines
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and process flow diagrams

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
