Senior Construction Project Manager – MEP & Facilities Renovation

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager – Construction to support a national energy client in Richmond, CA. This role focuses on managing complex MEP systems, active-site renovations, and facilities construction projects within a large national portfolio. You will lead project teams, ensure compliance, and drive successful delivery across scope, schedule, budget, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers across multiple construction projects
• Oversee full project lifecycle: planning, scheduling, execution, commissioning, and closeout
• Manage MEP systems, renovations, and active facility construction environments
• Control project scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality compliance
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and field teams
• Ensure contract compliance, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Resolve project issues and support recovery planning when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and project controls

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of project management or leadership experience
• 3+ years managing construction or facilities projects
• Proven experience with MEP systems and active-site renovations
• Strong background in project controls, scheduling, and forecasting
• Experience with construction/project management and financial systems
• Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe, Visio, and scheduling tools
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
