Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager – Construction
to support a national energy client in Richmond, CA. This role focuses on managing complex MEP systems, active-site renovations, and facilities construction projects within a large national portfolio. You will lead project teams, ensure compliance, and drive successful delivery across scope, schedule, budget, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers across multiple construction projects
- Oversee full project lifecycle: planning, scheduling, execution, commissioning, and closeout
- Manage MEP systems, renovations, and active facility construction environments
- Control project scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality compliance
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and field teams
- Ensure contract compliance, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Resolve project issues and support recovery planning when needed
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and project controls
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of project management or leadership experience
- 3+ years managing construction or facilities projects
- Proven experience with MEP systems and active-site renovations
- Strong background in project controls, scheduling, and forecasting
- Experience with construction/project management and financial systems
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe, Visio, and scheduling tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
