We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our team in Fresno, CA. This is a full-time opportunity for a skilled professional who is passionate about patient care, diagnostic imaging, and advancing their career in a collaborative healthcare environment.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a vital role in performing advanced imaging studies, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring patient safety while delivering high-quality diagnostic results.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate nuclear medicine cameras and related imaging equipment to create accurate diagnostic images.
  • Position patients correctly and select appropriate anatomic and technical factors for optimal imaging results.
  • Prepare, order, administer, and safely dispose of radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols.
  • Adhere to all radiation safety procedures and guidelines to protect patients and staff.
  • Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and complete documentation to PACS, including proper lead markers and patient history.
  • Perform regular equipment checks, report malfunctions, and coordinate maintenance as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized department environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Nuclear Medicine Technician.
  • Current certification and licensing as required by state and federal regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, radiation safety, and imaging equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
