Radiology Technician

Position Details:

• Shift: Monday Friday, 07:00 AM 03:30 PM
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
• Type: Traveler / Contract Radiology Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient procedures.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals to produce clear, accurate diagnostic images.
• Position patients and equipment while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and understanding of the procedure.
• Operate imaging systems, input commands, and adjust scan settings for optimal results.
• Monitor patients during imaging, following all radiation safety protocols.
• Produce and review diagnostic images, documenting and reporting findings to physicians.
• Manage daily procedure schedules, including emergencies, and maintain radiographic supplies.
• Support administrative functions, including scheduling, patient education, and answering technical inquiries.
• Perform routine maintenance and coordinate emergency repairs for imaging equipment.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience as a Radiology Technician (Cath Lab experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and radiation safety standards.
• Excellent communication, organization, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.
