Industrial Mechanic

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team in Dover, NJ. This hands-on role involves maintenance, repair, and assembly of industrial machinery, with a focus on hydraulic systems, welding, and mechanical troubleshooting. Ideal candidates are skilled, safety-conscious, and ready to provide exceptional service both in-shop and on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on industrial machinery
• Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic system issues
• Fabricate, assemble, and install parts as needed
• Conduct machinery rebuilds, shaft/motor/gearbox alignment, and bearing replacement
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints for repair and assembly work
• Operate hydraulic presses and perform hydraulic assembly/troubleshooting
• Conduct field service visits to customer sites with a valid driver's license
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role
• Hands-on experience with TIG and Fusion welding
• Strong hydraulic system assembly and troubleshooting skills
• Mechanical blueprint reading and interpretation
• Experience with machinery assembly, bearings, seals, shafts, and gearboxes
• Valid driver's license required; field service experience preferred

Preferred Skills:

• Welding certifications (TIG/Fusion)
• Hydraulic press operation experience and certifications
• Limited electrical wiring knowledge (motors, switches)
