Job Overview

We are hiring a Hydraulic Cylinder Repair Technician to perform hands-on repair, rebuilding, and testing of hydraulic cylinders in a shop environment. This role requires strong mechanical repair skills, the ability to read blueprints, and experience using precision measuring and quality inspection tools.

The ideal candidate has a background in industrial maintenance, heavy equipment repair, or hydraulic/fluid power systems and is comfortable working to tight tolerances in a production-focused repair setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair, rebuild, and test hydraulic cylinders and mechanical components
• Disassemble units, inspect for wear/damage, and replace seals, rods, and internal parts
• Use precision measuring tools to verify parts and ensure proper tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Perform quality checks to ensure repaired cylinders meet performance standards
• Maintain accurate workmanship and follow repair procedures
• Support general shop duties as needed

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical repair experience (hydraulic, industrial, or heavy equipment preferred)
• Experience performing hands-on mechanical disassembly, repair, and reassembly work
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical schematics
• Experience using hand tools and quality/inspection measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with hydraulic cylinder repair or rebuilds
• Background in industrial maintenance, mobile equipment service, or fluid power systems
• Familiarity with seals, hydraulic components, and troubleshooting mechanical systems

Work Environment & Location Details

• On-site shop position in West Chester, OH (45246)
• Standard weekday schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
• Hands-on mechanical repair environment with consistent workflow
• Ideal commute range: West Chester, Mason, Liberty Township, Fairfield, Sharonville, Monroe, and nearby northern Cincinnati suburbs (approx. 30–45 minutes travel time)
