Fabrication Project Manager – Pipe Fabrication (Industrial Construction)
Location: Appleton, WI or New London, WI
Compensation: $80,000 – $92,000
We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Project Manager to lead pipe fabrication projects in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing and construction environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing projects from planning through completion, ensuring safety, quality, budget control, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of pipe fabrication projects, including crews, schedules, and resources
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to specifications
- Coordinate materials, equipment, subcontractors, trucking, and outsourcing
- Serve as primary customer contact, providing updates and coordinating inspections
- Review drawings, contracts, estimates, and purchase orders for project readiness
- Oversee project P&L, budgeting, invoicing, and accounts receivable support
- Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with codes, specifications, and QA standards
- Supervise field crews and adjust schedules as needed
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety programs
- Drive customer satisfaction and operational efficiency initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (required)
- Experience in pipe fabrication (required)
- Proven Project Management experience in industrial construction or manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Strong math skills (geometry, ratios, percentages, field applications)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards
Preferred
- Experience with Acorn / Spoolfab software
