PICU Clinical Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct clinical pharmacy services for critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor medication therapy plans
• Participate in rounds, provide drug information, and optimize medication safety and efficacy
• Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical research within the PICU setting
• Educate staff, patients, and families on appropriate medication use

Qualifications

• PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency Training completed
• Current experience as a Clinical Pharmacist in PICU, acute care pediatrics, or children's hospital settings
• Must have completed residency training; current residents are not eligible
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a high-acuity, team-oriented environment
