We are seeking a motivated Electro Mechanical Technician to join our fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits for machine and equipment control.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
  • Install, maintain, and monitor electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment using schematics, blueprints, or verbal instructions.
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs and dismantle electrical machinery to replace defective parts such as brushes, armatures, and other components.
  • Install motors, transformers, lighting fixtures, panels, breakers, and conduit according to specifications.
  • Ensure electrical equipment operates safely and efficiently; make adjustments or replacements as needed.
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to complete projects accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members and may direct work of lower-class technicians.
  • Perform a variety of tasks as assigned by the Group Leader.

Qualifications

  • Two-year Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
  • 2-5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency in using computers to search for parts and log work in a CMMS.
  • Experience reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, sit, bend, stoop, and perform manual tasks.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
