Consulting, configuring, and managing Cloudflare services to optimize web performance, security, and reliability for enterprise environments

Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Cloudflare Engineer to provide expert consulting and administration of Cloudflare services, including CDN, DNS, DDoS protection, WAF, and edge computing capabilities. You will work closely with security, network, and development teams to enhance application delivery and safeguard digital assets.

Key Responsibilities

Cloudflare Configuration & Management

• Design, implement, and maintain Cloudflare configurations covering CDN, DNS, firewall rules, and caching policies
• Manage DDoS mitigation, bot management, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) settings to protect web assets
• Configure SSL/TLS, page rules, load balancing, and performance optimization features

Consulting & Strategy

• Provide technical consulting and best practices advice for Cloudflare deployment and integration
• Evaluate application architecture and recommend Cloudflare features to improve security, scalability, and performance
• Assist teams in leveraging Cloudflare Workers and edge computing to build serverless applications

Monitoring & Incident Response

• Monitor Cloudflare dashboards and logs for performance, security events, and incidents
• Respond to security alerts and support incident investigation and remediation efforts
• Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to automate Cloudflare policy enforcement and reporting

Documentation & Training

• Develop and maintain documentation on Cloudflare configurations, policies, and operational procedures
• Train internal teams on Cloudflare features, usage, and security best practices
• Stay current with Cloudflare product updates and evolving security threats

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years experience working with Cloudflare or similar edge security and CDN platforms
• Strong understanding of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and web security principles
• Experience configuring WAF rules, DDoS protection, and performance optimization settings
• Familiarity with Cloudflare Workers or other edge computing frameworks
• Proficiency in scripting or automation for cloud infrastructure management

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications related to cloud security, networking, or Cloudflare-specific training
• Experience integrating Cloudflare with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of broader cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures
• Background in incident response and security monitoring in cloud environments
