Position Overview
We are seeking an HRIS Integration Specialist to manage data integration and reporting workflows between HR Access (Sopra HR) and enterprise analytics platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Data Services. This role ensures accurate, timely, and secure transfer of HR data for visualization, workforce analytics, compliance reporting, and executive dashboards.

You will work closely with HR, IT, and data teams to develop pipelines, ensure data quality, and support self-service analytics use cases.

Key Responsibilities

HRIS Data Integration

  • Configure and maintain data extraction processes from HR Access (Sopra HR) to external data platforms
  • Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory, Power BI Dataflows, or Microsoft Fabric
  • Ensure alignment between HR system data models and reporting requirements (e.g., organizational structures, payroll, time management)

Reporting & Analytics Enablement

  • Build and publish datasets for Power BI dashboards and workforce KPIs
  • Design robust semantic models to support self-service analytics in HR and executive teams
  • Coordinate with data governance teams to define HR data definitions, access controls, and metadata standards

System & Platform Integration

  • Manage data connections between HR Access, Microsoft Fabric, and other enterprise tools
  • Optimize performance of large-scale HR data queries and Power BI reports
  • Ensure interoperability between on-premise HR Access deployments and cloud-based analytics services

Quality, Compliance & Support

  • Monitor data refresh cycles, quality checks, and error handling procedures
  • Ensure HR data integration complies with security and privacy policies (e.g., GDPR)
  • Provide technical support and training to HR analysts and report users

Required Qualifications

Technical Experience

  • 5+ years working with HR Access (Sopra HR) or similar HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP HCM, PeopleSoft, Workday)
  • Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure Synapse Analytics for data modeling and visualization
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data integration platforms (Azure Data Factory, SSIS, APIs)
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of HR data domains (payroll, positions, contracts, leave, etc.)

Analytical & Integration Skills

  • Ability to translate HR business needs into technical data models and reports
  • Knowledge of data privacy practices, HR master data structures, and role-based access controls
  • Familiarity with SFTP, API, or ODBC-based data extraction from HR Access or legacy mainframe systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, HR Technology, Data Science, or related field
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • Knowledge of French public-sector HR systems and data standards (if applicable)
  • Understanding of HR KPIs, compliance indicators, and workforce planning analytics
