Azure Infrastructure Consultant & Administrator

Position Overview

We are seeking an Azure Infrastructure Consultant & Administrator to design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade Azure cloud infrastructure solutions, providing expert consulting services and ongoing administration of IaaS, PaaS, and networking services to support organizational digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Infrastructure Design & Consulting

  • Design and architect Azure infrastructure solutions including compute, storage, and networking components

  • Provide expert consulting on cloud migration strategies and hybrid cloud architectures

  • Conduct infrastructure assessments and develop optimization recommendations

  • Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation roadmaps

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

IaaS & PaaS Administration

  • Deploy and manage Azure virtual machines, virtual networks, and storage solutions

  • Administer Azure App Services, Container Instances, and Kubernetes Services (AKS)

  • Configure and maintain Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, and other PaaS offerings

  • Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, and high availability configurations

  • Manage Azure backup and disaster recovery solutions

Networking & Security

  • Design and implement Azure virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups

  • Configure VPN gateways, ExpressRoute, and hybrid connectivity solutions

  • Implement Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, and Traffic Manager services

  • Manage Azure Active Directory integration and role-based access control

  • Configure monitoring and alerting through Azure Monitor and Log Analytics

Optimization & Governance

  • Implement cost optimization strategies and resource governance policies

  • Monitor performance metrics and implement scaling recommendations

  • Manage Azure Policy, Resource Manager templates, and automation scripts

  • Conduct regular security assessments and compliance reviews

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • 5+ years experience with Azure infrastructure services and cloud architecture

  • Expert knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and networking services

  • Proficiency in ARM templates, Bicep, and infrastructure as code practices

  • Strong experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and automation scripting

  • Knowledge of hybrid cloud scenarios and on-premises integration

  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration

Consulting Skills

  • Proven ability to assess client needs and develop technical solutions

  • Experience presenting to technical and executive stakeholders

  • Strong project management and implementation methodology skills

  • Ability to mentor teams and transfer knowledge effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

  • Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate)

  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Knowledge of monitoring tools, security frameworks, and compliance standards

  • Background in enterprise environments and complex infrastructure deployments
