Our client is an international translation agency established in 1997, is one of the significant providers of translation services for Central and Eastern European languages in the EU markets. They exclusively serve demanding Western European markets, collaborating regularly with hundreds of translators from several countries.

High-quality services, universally recognized competencies, and the highest level of customer service contribute to the dynamic development of the company. As they expand, they are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to take the lead in acquiring new clients, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional service. This role will focus on building strong, long-lasting client relationships while ensuring their satisfaction and long-term success with our services.

Role Overview:

The Business Development Manager will primarily focus on identifying, acquiring, and onboarding new clients (~80%) while fostering strong relationships to ensure their continued success post-onboarding. This role is ideal for a professional with a blend of project and operations management, sales experience, and client relationship skills. You'll collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality services and create growth opportunities for both clients and the company.

Key Responsibilities:

New Client Acquisition (Hunting ~ 80% ):

  • Proactively identify and engage potential clients in the Translation and Localization industry, presenting my client company's unique value proposition.
  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies to expand the client base and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, leveraging networking, referrals, and market research.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations and proposals, addressing client needs with tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition to active service delivery.

Client Success & Satisfaction (Farming ~20%):

  • Serve as the main point of contact post-onboarding, ensuring clients derive maximum value from our services.
  • Conduct regular check-ins to address client concerns, gather feedback, and foster satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, such as upselling or cross-selling additional services.

Operational Coordination:

  • Collaborate with project management and service delivery teams to ensure client projects are executed efficiently and meet high-quality standards.
  • Provide operational insights and act as a bridge between clients and internal teams to streamline communication and resolve issues promptly.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze key performance metrics related to client acquisition, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for internal stakeholders to assess progress and refine strategies.

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management or sales, business development, or client success, ideally in Language Service providing, Translation and Localization, or other related industries
  • Fluency in Polish, English, and French is required.
  • Strong background in project management with a focus on client-facing roles and sales delivery.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and close deals effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, project management tools, and data analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach, with a passion for exceeding client expectations and achieving sales goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8 hours a day (full-time), between 8:30 and 18:30

Recruitment process:

a. For remote candidates: Two video calls with the CEO and Operations Director
b. For candidates in or near Krakow: First-round video call, followed by an onsite meeting with CEO and Operations Director.
