Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled SEO Manager with 5+ years of experience to lead our technical SEO strategy, ensuring optimal website performance, crawlability, and indexability. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, website architecture, and technical optimizations to improve organic search rankings and drive sustainable traffic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical SEO Strategy & Execution:
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting site performance.
- Optimize website architecture, URL structures, internal linking, and navigation for search engine visibility.
- Implement and manage schema markup, canonical tags, hreflang, and other technical SEO elements.
- Ensure proper indexing and crawling by search engines through robots.txt, XML sitemaps, and crawl budget optimization.
- Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile usability.
Website Performance & Analytics:
- Collaborate with developers to implement SEO best practices in website infrastructure (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
- Analyze server logs, crawl data, and Google Search Console to diagnose and fix technical issues.
- Track and report on key SEO metrics, including organic traffic, rankings, and conversions.
- Work with data teams to ensure proper tracking (Google Analytics, GTM, etc.) and attribution modeling.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with content, UX, and development teams to align SEO with business goals.
- Guide migrations (domain, CMS, HTTP/HTTPS) while preserving SEO equity.
- Stay updated with industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging SEO technologies.
Leadership & Best Practices:
- Mentor junior SEO specialists and advocate for technical SEO best practices.
- Develop and document SEO guidelines for developers and content teams.
- Lead A/B tests and experiments to improve organic performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on technical SEO experience, preferably in an agency or enterprise environment.
- Expertise in SEO tools (Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Botify, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
- Proficient in Google Analytics, GTM, Data Studio, and SQL (preferred but not required).
- Experience with API integrations, server-side optimizations, and CDN configurations.
- Familiarity with Python, JavaScript SEO, and automation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and project management abilities.
Preferred Certifications:
- Google Search Console Certification
- Advanced Google Analytics Certification
- SEO-related courses (e.g., Moz, SEMrush, HubSpot)
