BIOVAC is one of the leading sterile vaccine manufacturers rooted in Africa, with our core purpose being to "protect life". We are looking to hire a dynamic, passionate, confident, proactive and meticulous Human Capital Shared Service Manager to join a goal-oriented team.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

  • Degree/ Diploma in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • Recognition is given to Prior Learning and practical experience.

NECESSARY EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE:

  • At least 5 years experience in a Generalist/Business Partnering Human Capital Function.
  • At least 4 years experience at middle management level.
  • Program and project implementation and management.
  • Change management experience.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

  • Clearly outline project goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with key stakeholders to align with business needs.
  • Create comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, task assignments, and resource requirements, to guide project delivery.
  • Prioritize tasks based on impact, urgency, and dependencies, ensuring that projects stay on schedule and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure proper allocation of team members, budget, and tools for each project phase to prevent bottlenecks and optimize efficiency.
  • Facilitate coordination between Human Capital, IT, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution and collaboration across functions.
  • Track project costs and ensure that all activities are executed within the defined budget while maximizing resource use.
  • Implement adjustments to project plans as needed based on evolving business needs, resource changes, or unexpected challenges.
  • Lead project initiation meetings and maintain open communication channels throughout the project lifecycle to ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Regularly monitor progress against project plans, identify potential delays, and implement course corrections where necessary to meet objectives.
  • Ensure proper closure of completed projects with documentation, handovers, and a post-project review to assess outcomes and gather learnings for future projects.
  • Adjust the human capital infrastructure in line with the ongoing refinement of Biovacs EVP and coach Human Capital to implement accordingly.
  • Work with Human Capital to establish employee engagement trends and ascertain means to address risks or implement continues improvements that are palatable and affordable in the short and long term.
  • Lead or participate in departmental and/ or site wide projects respectively.
  • Lead the workplace forum committee meeting.
