About the job Junior Business Partner
BIOVAC is one of the leading sterile vaccine manufacturers rooted in Africa, with our core purpose being to "protect life". We are looking to hire a dynamic, passionate, confident, proactive and meticulous Human Capital Junior Business Partner (FTC) to join a goal-oriented team.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
- Degree/ Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- Recognition is given to Prior Learning and practical experience.
NECESSARY EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE:
- At least 3 years relevant HR experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of Labour legislation (BCEA/ LRA/ B-BBEE, etc).
- HR experience within a pharmaceutical environment is advantageous.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
Documentation and Coordination:
- Managing adhoc HR administrator requests.
- Ensures that all assessments are filed and loaded onto Sharepoint.
- Complete, check and file HR administration to ensure sufficient, compliant, and accurate documentation is in place and filed accurately and confidentially.
- Scheduling & attending onboarding & exit interviews.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensures monthly recruitment stats are updated timeously.
- Creates recruitment tracker for all new vacancies, listing all prequalifying information.
- Distributes surveys as per planned commitments.
Wellness:
- Assists wellness champion with site specific initiatives and events as required.
- Assist with employee wellness, and other staff social activities for the purpose of enhancing and maintaining morale.
Transformation:
- Partners with HCO Manager to ensure that B-BBEE verification process logistics are handled timeously and ensures that audit documents are correct and on file.
- Drives Employment Equity during recruitment to ensure departmental EE ratio aligns to EE target for the business.
Recruitment:
- Translates Job descriptions into adverts.
- Participates in drafting of job descriptions.
- Assist with scheduling & coordinating of interviews, psychometric assessments and any other recruitment logistics arrangements.
- Participates in interviews.
- Responsible for timeous vacancy advertising, response handling and shortlisting of applications.
- Ensures that all candidate background checks are run timeously.
Performance, Conduct Management and Employee Relations:
- Ensure the performance management documents are consolidated and filed on Sharepoint.
- Support staff and managers who require guidance in the IR process and in preparing for disciplinary or incapacity interventions.
- Participate in Disciplinary Enquiries as Human Capital Representative.
- Follow up on required and/ or outstanding IR interventions to ensure conclusion thereof.
- Ensure company precedence is consistently maintained and mitigate risks.
