The Job

The POS Marketing Strategist will focus on Point of Sale Marketing strategies, including product marketing and conversion optimization for both online and offline POS financing. You'll analyze marketing campaigns, develop strategies to improve product visibility and adoption, and work closely with designers to create effective conversion flows. Success in this role is demonstrated by increasing product awareness, improving conversion rates, and meeting or exceeding performance targets for our POS financing products.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Analyze POS marketing campaign performance and product adoption rates
  • Conduct market research on POS financing trends and competitor offerings
  • Evaluate marketing strategies and forecast performance across different channels
  • Provide recommendations on marketing improvements and campaign strategies
  • Generate reports and presentations on marketing performance for stakeholders
  • Monitor conversion rates and suggest optimizations for both online and offline channels
  • Analyze customer behavior and purchasing patterns at point of sale
  • Collaborate with designers, business owners, including merchants partners to create effective conversion flows for POS financing
  • Assist in defining marketing requirements and creating campaign briefs
  • Conduct A/B testing for marketing materials and conversion funnels
  • Visit merchant locations to observe customer interactions and gather insights

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 1-2+ years of experience in marketing analysis, preferably in e-commerce or retail
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools
  • Knowledge of SQL and skills in Excel are preferable, but not required
  • Experience with data visualization tools is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Understanding of POS systems, financial products, and retail marketing is beneficial
  • Basic understanding of UX/UI principles for conversion optimization
