The Job

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in equipping our Collections Specialists with the knowledge, skills, and behaviors they need to excel. You'll collaborate with the Training Manager to develop and deliver engaging  training programs, ensuring our team is well-prepared to navigate the collections landscape and achieve optimal results.

  • Assist the Training Manager in the design, development, and delivery of training programs for Collections Specialists.

  • Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, handouts, and eLearning modules.

  • Facilitate training sessions on specific topics related to collections, leveraging various instructional methods.

  • Assist with the implementation of new training programs and initiatives.

  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and develop relevant training solutions.

  • Maintain training records and track the effectiveness of training programs.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in collections training.

  • Support the Training Manager in research and development of new training methodologies.

  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., HR, Operations) to ensure training programs are aligned with business goals.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Training & Development, Human Resources, Instructional Design, or a related field (preferred)

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in training and development, ideally within a collections environment.

  • Strong experience in developing and delivering training materials.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

  • Proficiency in adult learning principles and instructional design methods.

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) a plus.

  • Working knowledge of the collections industry (a plus).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
