The Job

The Sales Trainer will play a vital role in developing and enhancing the skills of our sales team. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that improve the performance, knowledge, and skills of our sales staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of effective sales techniques and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Program Development: Design and develop comprehensive sales training programs, including onboarding for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff.

  • Facilitation: Conduct engaging and effective training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching to improve sales skills and product knowledge.

  • Content Creation: Create training materials, manuals, and resources that support learning and development objectives.

  • Performance Assessment: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.

  • Continuously refine and improve training methods.

  • Sales Techniques: Teach advanced sales techniques, including effective communication, negotiation, closing strategies, and customer relationship management.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales managers and team leaders to identify training needs and align training programs with business goals.

  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on training progress, performance improvements, and other relevant metrics to senior management.

  • Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest sales techniques, tools, and best practices to ensure training programs are cutting-edge and effective.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of experience in sales training or a related role, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field preferred.

  • Skills: Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to design and implement effective training programs.

  • Deep understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices.

  • Ability to assess training needs and measure training effectiveness.

  • Creative and innovative approach to training and development.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with e-learning platforms, training software, and MS Office Suite.

  • Must be Visayan speaking
