We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our organization's network infrastructure in a fully remote environment. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of network systems that support core business functions. This role requires a proactive professional with strong troubleshooting abilities and a solid understanding of modern networking technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, manage, and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs

Ensure network availability, performance, and security across all systems

Perform network maintenance, upgrades, and patch management

Monitor network traffic and performance to identify and resolve bottlenecks or vulnerabilities

Implement and enforce network security protocols and best practices

Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution

Manage user access, permissions, and network authentication systems

Support remote connectivity solutions for distributed teams

Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures

Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to support business needs

Required Qualifications

Must be currently residing in the United States

Valid U.S. work authorization (citizen, permanent resident, or authorized work permit holder)

Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role

Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs)

Hands-on experience with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, or similar)

Familiarity with firewall and security technologies

Experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostics

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA/CCNP)

Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

Knowledge of network automation and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards

Work Environment

Fully remote role with flexible scheduling options
