We are seeking a versatile and proactive IT Specialist to support and maintain our organization's technology systems in a fully remote environment. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, manage IT operations, and ensure the smooth functioning of hardware, software, and network systems. This role requires a well-rounded professional with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical problems

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls

Support remote users with connectivity and system access issues

Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patches

Assist with cybersecurity measures, including endpoint protection and compliance

Maintain IT documentation, including procedures and system configurations

Collaborate with internal teams to support operational needs

Escalate complex issues to senior IT personnel when necessary

Required Qualifications

Must be currently residing in the United States

Valid U.S. work authorization (citizen, permanent resident, or authorized work permit holder)

Proven experience in an IT support or IT specialist role

Strong understanding of Windows and/or macOS environments

Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

Experience with help desk tools and remote support technologies

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications)

Experience with cloud services (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, or Azure)

Familiarity with IT security best practices

Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash)

Work Environment

Fully remote role with flexible scheduling options

Must be available to work within U.S. business hours
