About the job Operations Coordinator (Hybrid/Remote Eligible + Internship Eligible)

BDAS is seeking an Operations Coordinator to manage the administrative backbone of our consulting and R&D business — from onboarding contractors and employees to vendor management, billing, and contract compliance. This role is critical to keeping our fast-moving mix of government and commercial engagements running smoothly.

Location: Boulder, CO (Hybrid/Remote-eligible)

Responsibilities

  • Manage onboarding/offboarding for new employees, contractors, and subcontractors (paperwork, access provisioning, compliance documentation)
  • Coordinate billing and invoicing across client and government contracts, including tracking deliverables tied to payment milestones
  • Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, including teaming agreements, MSAs, and NDAs
  • Maintain compliance records for government contracting requirements (e.g., NDC status, security/export control documentation)
  • Support internal operations processes — timekeeping, expense tracking, and contract file management
  • Coordinate logistics for trade shows, conferences, and other business development events
  • Liaise with finance/accounting on invoicing schedules and vendor payments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with contractor/vendor onboarding and administrative coordination
  • Familiarity with billing/invoicing processes, ideally in a consulting, R&D, or government contracting environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple concurrent contracts
  • Bonus: experience with government contracting compliance (DFARS, FAR) or HR/recruiting software (e.g., Manatal)

Internship Opportunity: An internship track is also available for this role. A completed degree is not required for internship candidates — current students and early-career applicants with relevant coursework, projects, or experience are encouraged to apply and to note their interest in the internship in their application.
